Theme for The Next Gen 2026
Developing digital solutions, platforms, or tools that directly improve, organize, or elevate the student-gaming and collegiate esports ecosystem in the Philippines.
What you build is entirely your call. Ship a mobile app, a web platform, or a standalone program — any format counts, as long as it answers the theme.

Open to all currently enrolled undergraduate students in the Philippines (IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields)
All team members must hold a Philippine passport valid until at least May 2027 (6 months post-event) at the time of the event
Teams must have exactly 4 members. No more, no less.
All members must be currently enrolled undergraduate students. To prove eligibility, each member uploads a Certificate of Registration (COR) for the Current or Upcoming Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027.
Students retain 100% of the Intellectual Property (IP) for what they build
Students must be 18 or above on or before the end of the registration period
- The Next Gen team will confirm the validity of passports after winners have been announced. In case the winning team has a member/members with an invalid passport or has no passport, the Next Gen team has the right to disallow said team to fly. The Runner Up will be granted the flights to Thailand.
- Flights to Thailand are non-convertible to cash under any circumstances.
